What I do

What I’ve done

I’ve taught in the Bronx, India, and Vietnam; I’ve worked on Education Policy for the US Agency for Int’l Development in Mali, Senegal, and Jordan. I’ve worked on storytelling projects for organizations in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Haiti, Florida, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Uganda, Tanzania, and Washington, DC.

What I believe

Over the past five years, I’ve produced stories for non-profit organizations around the world, from working with young adults in Miami to Haitian farmers in Aux Cayes to children in Tanzania and Uganda learning through play. I’ve been a “one-man band,” handling pre-production preparations, actual filming, and then all the post-production: editing, mixing audio, color grading, and final delivery. Before starting my own production company focusing on non-profit organizations, I worked on big, multi-million dollar education projects overseas.

When I’m not off traveling you’ll find me at home in Brooklyn, where I help teachers create online classes for Skillshare. I’ve worked on all facets of the process: from helping shape a teacher’s lesson plan to filming to editing.

I approach my work with two core beliefs: that organizations need authentic stories if they really want to resonate with audiences in this era of social media; and that anyone can become a great storyteller with enthusiasm, training, and follow-up mentoring.

If you have a story to tell or class to teach using video, audio, writing, and/or photography, let’s get in touch. I work with great partners, from small, nimble NGOs, to some of the largest organizations in the world. And I work with people. Probably a lot like you. People who know they’ve got a great story, but don’t know where to start. I can help.

Let’s get started.

Let’s talk

You work at an organization that does amazing work that nobody’s heard of. You live in a community that routinely gets shafted by the powers that be. You want to teach your passion to someone else online. You need video footage and/or photographs of something important. You need your raw footage edited into something people actually want to watch.
